Born the 11th of June in Palmerston North, New Zealand, David started performing on stage at an early age. At seven years old, he was introduced to dance, which gave him the opportunity to compete and travel the country and eventually led him from the small town of Wanganui to the big city of Las Vegas.

At 18, David studied in the field of sports science and as a result, moved to Auckland to become a top trainer and compete in one of New Zealand's top athletic clubs. He still follows and admires the sport.

One day during a work out session, David was approached by producers to participate in a reality show based on the lives of ordinary guys that have something special to contribute.

The show gained instant success in New Zealand and catapulted the guys involved into the media spotlight, with large audiences tuning in every week. Traveling the world, the guys sold out shows in New Zealand, Canada, and the United States, and David found himself back on stage once again.

After coming off the tour the guys were tired and needed a break from the hectic life of living out of a suitcase, and running around airports, so they decided to go there own way and venture into different areas individually.

In 2002, David was offered a contract to move to the United States and perform in Las Vegas.

While performing, he received a phone call to audition for a NBC pilot that later became Jake in Progress, cast by Jeff Greenberg.

Although the audition didn't go as planned, it ended up being a turning point in David's life. Jeff shared some advice with David that prompted an intense desire to act. So with no previous acting experience under his belt, he dove straight in the deep end.

In 2004, he made the move to LA where he dedicated himself to the art of acting. Studying under Steven Anderson, Tom Draper, and Ivana Chubbuck, he transformed himself as an actor and as a person.

While continuing to take weekly class and privates, David travels from his home in Las Vegas back to LA every week, proving his dedication and determination to achieve his desire to become an actor.

Having been on such shows as NBC's Las Vegas, ABC's The View, and working on independent film projects, David looks forward to the challenge of what is to come next.
